What we collect and why

When you visit Grocerfolk.com, we collect standard web analytics data to understand how the site is used. This includes pages visited, time on page, and general geographic region. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not collect personally identifiable information and do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

If you fill out a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

What we do not do

Grocer Folk does not run a newsletter at this time. We do not collect email addresses for mailing lists. We do not run affiliate links or earn commissions from product links. We do not run display advertising or sell ad placements. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

Grocerfolk.com uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors use the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the site. Each processor receives only the data necessary for its function:

• Netlify — website hosting. Netlify processes standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) to serve the site. See Netlify's privacy policy.
• Analytics — we use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information. No cross-site tracking or advertising profiles are built.

We do not sell or share your personal information with any other third parties.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months and then deleted. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individuals.
